MM2 trading tips for beginners
Trading in Murder Mystery 2 is fun until someone takes you. These tips cover the basics every new trader should know: values, the trade window, the common scams, and when it's simpler to just sell.
Learn values before you trade
Look up every item before a trade, both yours and theirs. Our item value pages show prices in R$.
Demand matters as much as value. An item many players want is easier to trade away later.
Be careful with "hype" items. A price that jumped yesterday can fall back tomorrow.
Read the trade window every time
Check every item's name and tier before you accept, even if you checked a second ago.
Watch for last-second swaps: an item gets changed right before you accept. If anything changes, re-read everything.
Record your screen on big trades. It's your proof if something goes wrong.
The tricks to know
"Trust trade": "send first, I'll send after". Never give first.
Fake giveaways: "send an item to enter". Real giveaways never ask for anything.
Login links: a "value checker" that asks you to log in steals your account.
Copied names: someone uses a name that looks like a trusted trader's. Check it letter by letter.
When selling beats trading
Trading needs another player who wants your item and has one you want. Selling doesn't: on MM2Cash you trade the item to our trader at a fixed price and the R$ is yours straight away, to cash out as Robux, crypto or cash. How selling works
Heads up
Nobody needs your password, a login code or a payment to trade with you. Anyone who asks is trying to steal your account. Spot a scam
Good to know
Take your time. Anyone rushing you to accept is a reason to slow down.
Questions
How do I know if a trade is fair?
Add up the value of both sides using the item pages, and think about demand: a fair trade is close in value and in how easy each side is to trade later.
What is the most common MM2 scam?
Trust trades ("send first") and last-second item swaps. Never give first, and read the window every time.
Is selling to MM2Cash safe?
You trade our trader in-game like any player, never share a password, and the R$ is credited the moment the trade completes. Is it safe?
